Kevin Owens is NOT happy with Chris Jericho right now.
That’s because tonight (Feb. 6, 2017) on Raw, when the best friends were in the ring riffing as usual, Goldberg interrupted to accept Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania challenge. But then he turned his attention to Kevin Owens, pointing out that they’re both open for the Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) that happens on March 5 so why not have a Universal title match.
Chris Jericho got in the face of Goldberg to stand up for his friend, but he ended up accepting the title match for Fastlane, much to Owens dismay.
It had been rumored for awhile that Goldberg would get a title shot at Fastlane before going on to fight Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Tonight, both of those things became reality. (Technically GM Mick Foley hasn’t made the Fastlane match official yet, but he will.) Plus this may start creating a rift between super best friends Jericho and Owens heading in to WrestleMania 33 as well.
Excited?
