In news that lines up nicely with rumored “Road to WrestleMania 33” booking plans, Goldberg is being advertised for Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Monday, Feb. 27 - the ‘go home’ show for the red brand’s Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV), which takes place in Milwaukee on Sunday, March 5.
And the WCW legend would almost have to be on the show if Fastlane is going to be main evented by him challenging Kevin Owens for the Universal title, as has been reported.
Feb. 27 could be a key piece of the Mania puzzle for another reason, too. Brock Lesnar won’t be on the PPV card in Milwaukee, allegedly, but he is advertised for Green Bay. So this could be a key showdown en route to the Showcase of the Immortals in Orlando on April 2.
Of course, their feud could look very different after Fastlane, seeing as Goldberg is supposedly leaving that show with the strap, making their trilogy fight a Universal title match.
