Report: Ric Flair backstage at WWE Raw (Possible spoiler)

Always a little difficult to tell exactly what these “so-and-so spotted backstage!” reports mean. WWE does a lot of things simultaneously, so as with Paige coming to where Raw was being held to have her neck checked out, or when Taz showed up at SmackDown to film commentary for a Network show, just that someone is on-site doesn’t mean they’ll be on television.

But, it’s worth a mention - especially when it’s Ric Flair. And that’s precisely who PWInsider says is floating around backstage at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin ahead of Raw tonight (Feb. 27).

The Nature Boy just had a birthday - something the company’s been celebrating - and he should have an ESPN 30 for 30 special on the air soon that he might want to plug.

But the most logical assumption is the one Insider makes - that Ric will again be involved in one of Charlotte Flair’s angles in the women’s division. Papa Flair’s been a fixture of the scene, both as an ally of his daughter and a supporter of her rivals, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him show up on the last episode before the Queen tries to reclaim her crown from Bayley this Sunday at Fastlane.
