Naomi, who just vacated the SmackDown women’s championship on this past week’s episode due to the knee injury she suffered at Elimination Chamber, posted the following to her social media:
This comes after the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required by recommended) reported her injury is similar to the one Seth Rollins recently suffered on an episode of Monday Night Raw. She’s hurt worse than they originally thought — hence the relinquishing of the title — but she’s not expected to be out long.
