At the conclusion of tonight’s NXT taping in Orlando at the University of Central Florida (in what was probably a dark match segment, but - who knows! - and WWE’s publicizing it on their social media, so sorry if it’s a spoiler. It’s definitely news), Shinsuke Nakamura was outnumbered against Bobby Roode and Andrade “Cien” Almas.
The “Catch Your Breath” hit the loud speakers and Nak’s friend, former Universal champion Finn Bálor hit the ring.
While WWE is taking great pains to make sure we remember Finn isn’t medically cleared from his rotator cuff surgery last August, well... you watch this and let me know if he’s worried about that shoulder:
I’d say he’s ready to comeback, wouldn’t you?
While this is probably an out-of-continuity appearance, it’s a curious way to bring him back. But then, we were already scratching our heads over the news they were advertising him for house shows before putting him on television (or even confirming he’ll be back on TV), so...
What do you make of this, gang?
UPDATE: Finn thinks the “not medically cleared” bit is hilarious...
