Triple H is pulling out all the stops for the NXT taping at University of Central Florida (UCF) - probably because tickets are still available.
After taking the unusual step last week of advertising a title match which hadn’t been set-up on our screens yet when he announced Bobby Roode vs. Kassius Ohno for the show tonight (Feb. 22), NXT then revealed Shinsuke Nakamura’s return match would be against former Cruiserweight champ TJ Perkins. Now, Hunter is bringing home one of the biggest stars in the brand’s history:

Bálor is game, which makes sense as he’s been in Orlando anyway, working out at the Performance Center ahead of a planned return - to the house show circuit anyway - next month:

This will likely be one of the “We Are NXT” promos Finn was known for - and the brand never found anyone else to deliver in quite so convincing a fashion - and might not even end up on WWE Network. But it’s a nice treat for Florida fans.
It’ll also give Bálor a chance to flex his promo muscles. Lord knows he doesn’t need to do much more work on his abs...
