The many wrestlers available for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33

WWE.com

Assuming the rumors are correct, and just based simply on the direction we see from television, the WrestleMania 33 card is going to look something like this:

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg
  • Roman Reigns vs. Undertaker
  • Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
  • Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
  • John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse
  • Big Show vs. Shaq
  • Triple H vs. Seth Rollins
  • Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles
  • Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

That’s nine matches. We can assume they’ll add a couple more, considering there are some clear directions like Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin for the Intercontinental championship and The Club vs. Enzo & Big Cass for the Raw tag team championship. Then you have Naomi entering as SmackDown women’s champion, not to mention American Alpha as SmackDown tag team champions who also need something to do.

So who does this leave us with as possible wrestlers in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal?

We’ll go ahead and rule out anyone who is currently injured. We’ll also drop any champion who isn’t yet booked or even rumored for a particular match (despite current TV direction) but leave in current possible top contenders.

That leaves the following list:

Aiden English
Apollo Crews
Baron Corbin
Big Cass
Big E
Bo Dallas
Braun Strowman
Cesaro
Curt Hawkins
Curtis Axel
Dolph Ziggler
Epico
Enzo Amore
Fandango
Goldust
Heath Slater
Jack Swagger
James Ellsworth
Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso
Kane
Kalisto
Kofi Kingston
Konnor
Luke Harper
Mark Henry
Mojo Rawley
Primo
Rhyno
R-Truth
Rusev
Sami Zayn
Samoa Joe
Sheamus
Simon Gotch
Titus O'Neil
Viktor
Tyler Breeze
Xavier Woods

That’s 39 wrestlers to fill 20 spots, meaning there will still be plenty of folks who have nothing to do at WrestleMania, not even getting tossed out first in a battle royal. This would also seem to make clear that, considering his recent push, there’s no way Braun Strowman is losing this match.

Right?
