WWE has settled into a groove, it seems, now that the promotion is on the Road to WrestleMania. Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw a big drop off in viewers following the post-Royal Rumble edition the week before, which was expected.
This week saw another drop, though it wasn’t bad.
Indeed, this week’s show drew 3.07 million viewers, down slightly from 3.11 million viewers seven days ago. The hourly breakdown showed the usual pattern with less of a drop off:
Hour one: 3.20 million
Hour two: 3.15 million
Hour three: 2.91 million
The show had a week’s worth of promotion for the Festival of Friendship featuring Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho (which ended up being one of the best segments in Raw history) and Bayley challenging Charlotte Flair for the women’s championship (which she won). That wasn’t enough to bring more viewers to the program, but it also didn’t cost enough to make a difference.
