Chris Jericho ‘being evaluated for cervical pain and possible injuries’ at Las Vegas medical facility after being assaulted by Kevin Owens

As you’d expect following a Kevin Owens’ apron powerbomb - which WWE has pretty consistently depicted as a devastating maneuver - the company’s website has announced that Chris Jericho is being evaluated for “cervical pain and possible injuries” at a local medical facility in Las Vegas.

Jericho did a stretcher and ambulance job when the “Festival of Friendship” turned out to be a set-up for the long awaited break-up of the best friends, JeriKO. Most fans expected the split to come later on the Road to WrestleMania, and weren’t braced for it to so effectively make Y2J sympathetic right before Owens betrayed him as he has others, like Sami Zayn, in the past.

The WWE.com report only covers the physical toll the segment took on Jericho, which also included his being smashed face first into a flat screen. They promise to update us on his condition... we’ll probably have to wait until at least next Monday to find out about his spirit.
