If history has taught us anything, it’s that Kevin Owens is a horrible friend.
As El Generico and Sami Zayn learned before him, Chris Jericho found that out tonight. The United States champion threw KO a campy but heartfelt celebration of their partnership - The Festival of Friendship - and vowed to ensure that Owens will leave Fastlane and his match with Goldberg with the Universal title.
But maybe Triple H, who Kev met with backstage before the Festival, made a better offer.
We’ll have to wait for answers to those questions. For now, friendship is dead, because KO started his own list with one name... Chris Jericho.

This certainly sets things up for their proposed WrestleMania match, and probably even creates an opening for Jericho to cost, rather than save, Owens’ title in three weeks.
Y2J was taken to a local medical facility, but none of his physical wounds will match his emotional pain.
Damnit Owens.
