WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 results: American Alpha retain tag team titles

The tag team championship was on the line at tonight’s (Sun., Feb. 12, 2017) WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, as American Alpha put their straps up for grabs in a Tag Team Turmoil match.

That means two teams start in the ring and every time a team is pinned a new one comes down until a winner is decided. The match started with Heath Slater & Rhyno opposite Breezango. That latter team was eliminated when Rhyno got in and hit a single GORE to pin Fandango.

Out next was The Vaudevillains. They were taken out fairly quickly to bring out The Usos, who were fresh enough to take out the former champs who just so happened to get the worst draw. That brought out the current champs, American Alpha. Jimmy and Jey managed to hang for a time, taking a chunk out of Gable and Jordan, but they were ultimately pinned to make way for the final team in the match, The Ascension.

Being the bad guys they are, The Usos made sure to beat down the good guys on the way out. That meant Konnor and Viktor entered with victory all but certain.

Naturally, they couldn’t pull it off and Gable and Jordan overcame to retain the belts.
