Rob Gronkowksi’s friend Mojo Rawley to beat up Curt Hawkins with his own cane on Elimination Chamber pre-show

Elimination Chamber finally has a match for its Kickoff show. Curt Hawkins & Mojo Rawley are now the eighth announced bout for Sunday, Feb. 12 in Phoenix.

There’s not much to the build between undercard guys - in fact, you can watch the entirety of it in the above video. Hawkins made fun of Mojo’s friendship with the New England Patriots’ injured star Rob Gronkowski so WWE could work a timely Super Bowl reference onto YouTube, Rawley intimidated Curt and threatened to beat him up with his own cane, and we’re off!

In fact, this match probably exists for two purposes: to continue their slow push for the Hype Man, and so Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga can make a bunch of GRONK references.

Here’s the updated, and probably final, card for Elimination Chamber:

- Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin vs. AJ Styles vs. John Cena (c) in an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World title
- Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi for the Women’s title
- American Alpha (c) vs. The Usos vs. Breezango vs. The Ascension vs. The Vaudevillains vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno in a tag turmoil match for the SmackDown tag team championship
- Nikki Bella vs. Natalya
- Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper
- Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews & Kalisto in a two-on-one handicap match
