Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens Universal title match advertised for March Madison Square Garden house show

Kevin Owens is finally getting his Brock Lesnar match!

The Universal champ’s been lobbying for a shot at the Beast Incarnate for a long time now, and while their encounter won’t happen at WrestleMania, as KO has dreamed about, it is happening in the WWE’s most iconic venue - Madison Square Garden.

It’s also worth noting that, while “Card Subject to Change” is in play, it’s being advertised as a SPECIAL ATTRACTION WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:

TheGarden.com

No word on which of the two men will be holding the red strap, so there’s no telling how/if this plays into the rumors of how the Universal title and Lesnar’s feud with Goldberg will be booked on the road to Orlando and Mania 33.

Which is also a question we could ask about the WWE World title match advertised above Brock/KO, between current champion John Cena and one of the men he’ll face in SmackDown’s Feb. 12’s Elimination Chamber match, Bray Wyatt.

But we can worry about that later... WE’VE GOT TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET TO NEW YORK CITY! THERE’S A PRIZEFIGHT IN THE GARDEN!

Oh, yeah, and Tamina might be back on the SmackDown roster.

Here’s the full advertised card for this co-branded Sunday show on the Road to WrestleMania:

- John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt for the WWE World championship

- Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens for the Universal title

- Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin vs. Miz for the Intercontinental championship

- Luke Harper vs. Randy Orton

- American Alpha vs. The Usos for the SmackDown tag titles

- Apollo Crews vs. Dolph Ziggler

- Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Naomi & Tamina vs. Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Carmella & Natalya

- Rhyno, Heath Slater & Kalisto vs. Breezango & Curt Hawkins

*CARD IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE*
