WWE announces two segments for SmackDown Live next week

WWE will be in Cincinnati, Ohio for next week’s episode of SmackDown Live, the go home episode leading into the Clash of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for a week from Sunday in Boston. The company website dropped some news today to start promoting it in the form of two segments.

First, a match: Kevin Owens vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, with Sami Zayn and Randy Orton in their respective corners. This is, of course, a preview of the tag team match those four will be involved in at Clash, where Owens and Zayn’s jobs are on the line.

Second, a face-to-face meeting: WWE Champion AJ Styles will stand across from his challenger, Jinder Mahal. There isn’t much to this at this point, with WWE opting to hype it with standard questions going into a segment like this:

Will these two Superstars be able to meet face to face without coming to blows? What will happen as this combustible rivalry nears its boiling point?

That enough to get you excited about it?
