While AJ Styles was caught up battling with Jinder Mahal over the WWE championship, Kevin Owens was in the midst of a prolonged back-and-forth with Commissioner Shane McMahon. All parties aren’t exactly on good terms as it stands now, but they at least seem to be ready to move on to the next thing.
That next thing, it turns out, may be another Styles vs. Owens feud:

These two were, in part, the impetus for the Owens vs. McMahon feud. At that time, it was over the United States title. Now, Styles is WWE champ and Owens is still a top star on the blue brand.
It only makes sense.
