WWE has yet to officially announce how many wrestlers will enter the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match. The first men’s Rumble had 20 before going to 30 the next year and sticking with that number all but once (there were 40 in 2011) ever since.
Considering the size of the current roster, one would think 20 would be the right number but if they’re willing, WWE can absolutely get to 30 women.
Remember, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte are both out, because they are the respective title holders at present time, and the winner of the match will earn a title shot at WrestleMania, no different than the men.
- Alicia Fox
- Asuka
- Bayley
- Dana Brooke
- Mandy Rose
- Mickie James
- Nia Jax
- Paige
- Sasha Banks
- Sonya Deville
- Becky Lynch
- Carmella
- Lana
- Liv Morgan
- Naomi
- Natalya
- Ruby Riott
- Sarah Logan
- Tamina
That’s the entirety of the active roster, making up 19 wrestlers. A typical men’s Royal Rumble includes legends, returning stars, and, sometimes, cameo appearances from wrestlers in NXT. With that in mind, there are nine names right away that make sense:
- Nikki Bella
- Brie Bella
- Peyton Royce
- Billie Kay
- Nikki Cross
- Kairi Sane
- Trish Stratus
- Lita
- Michelle McCool
Which leaves two spots that could be filled by a long list of former stars who would undoubtedly get a pop or huge heat. Let’s go with:
- Kelly Kelly
- Eva Marie
There you have it. It’s likely more practical to go with 20 until the women’s roster expands but if they wanted to go with 30, they could absolutely pull that off.
