WWE opened its Clash of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Baron Corbin putting his United States championship on the line against both Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler in a triple threat match. The speculation, of course, was that the latter was there to take the pin.
Nope!
Some action:

It was your typical triple threat type of match, with teased finishes broken up and erratic action. They did some really strong false finishes, like Roode hitting his DDT and throwing Corbin out before attempting a pin that ended when Baron pulled him out.
Back in the ring, Corbin tried the End of Days on Roode but Ziggler got up in time to hit the Zig Zag just as they were going down, giving him a 2-for-1. He covered Corbin and got the three count.
Dolph Ziggler is your new United States champion.
Deal with it.
