Just over a week ago, a report made the rounds that Ronda Rousey was “finalizing details of her move to WWE.” Triple H quickly followed up on that by laughing it off while saying the two sides have talked and it’s about working out the details.
“They are looking for an opportunity and I have made it clear an opportunity exists,” as he put it.
Now, perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s TMZ with a new report essentially backing up what Triple H is saying:
But, multiple independent sources from all sides of the deal have told us contract talks have NOT gotten off the ground.
As one source bluntly put it, "[Ronda's team] hasn't begun any negotiations with the WWE."
The reality here is that literally all signs point to Rousey doing something with WWE, and maybe a lot more than just something, and it’s only a matter of time before it happens. WrestleMania 34 is still four months away, so there’s plenty of time to get a deal worked out to bring her in for the biggest pro wrestling show of 2018.
Despite this talk, there’s zero reason to think she isn’t coming.
