WWE Raw viewers down this week

WWE.com

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw a drop in viewership from last week, garnering 2.68 million viewers compared to 2.81 million viewers seven days ago. The hourly breakdown doesn’t look as bad as last week, at least:

Hour one: 2.88 million
Hour two: 2.61 million
Hour three: 2.57 million

That’s a much smaller drop in the third hour than Raw has been dealing with but the show also started with a smaller audience. Last week’s show, for instance, started with 3.14 million in hour one before finishing with 2.43 million in hour three.

Either way, the numbers remain low despite a big late push for the main event match, a Braun Strowman vs. Kane top contender bout with the winner facing Brock Lesnar for the Universal championship at Royal Rumble. A real time indication they don’t care about such a match? Enough knowledge to know a bad finish (double countout) was incoming?

Either way, the numbers tell the tale.

Lesnar, for what it’s worth, returns next week.
