Samoa Joe, The Bar decimate The Shield to open Raw

@WWEUniverse

The Shield’s losing streak continued tonight (Dec. 11) to kickoff Raw. Since their formation you can count on one hand the number of teams that have gotten the better of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose on back to back weeks.

Samoa Joe is a man with a plan and it worked to perfection as Raw opened with The Samoan Submission Machine standing alone in the center of the ring. In one of the better promos of his WWE run, Joe verbally cut Reigns down to size.

Joe’s plan began with goading Reigns into the ring and having The Bar distract the IC champ long enough for a sneak attack.

By the time Rollins and Ambrose ran down to make the save, Reigns was neck deep in a Coquina Clutch.

The segment would end with Samoa Joe, Cesaro and Sheamus standing tall over the bodies of The Shield. Is this building towards a possible three on three match at the Royal Rumble? Can the WWE stretch this feud out for another whole month?
