The folks at TMZ are reporting Ford is suing the WWE star for violating a contract over a 2017 Ford GT. Apparently, Cena was selected for the opportunity to purchase the car, did so, agreed not to sell it for at least two years, and then sold it for a profit.
Per the report, Cena told Ford he sold the car so he could pay bills. He also said he would work with them to make it right but that hasn’t happened just yet.
That’s all according to the lawsuit. Ford is seeking to be paid the entire profit he made off the sale of the car as well as damages and losses suffered due to his actions.
Cena was last on WWE television at Survivor Series and is currently out promoting the upcoming release of the film Ferdinand. He’s not expected back on WWE television until early next year.
