WWE is promoting Becky and Jinder training with Conor McGregor’s coach, so you know what that means

WWE.com

WWE is always thirsty for some Conor McGregor gossip. They were likely thrilled when a report hit the UK tabloids last month that the UFC’s crossover star was in talks to work WrestleMania 34, even if Vince McMahon himself played a role in shooting that down a few days later.

As they’re over in the United Kingdom and Europe, they’re getting plenty of opportunities to play it up. Triple H used a question from his appearance on Good Morning Britain yesterday (Nov. 3) to fuel the flames of an angle The Notorious One himself started by bad-mouthing 99% of the roster:

“Well, Conor McGregor has said a lot of stuff about WWE in the past. I don’t have a problem with it because he has said I am a ‘Don’, which is great... but he’s said a lot of stuff about our talent in the past. Conor McGregor comes in it, it’s not gonna be an easy go.”

The company’s also jumped on a trip current WWE champ Jinder Mahal and former SmackDown Women’s titleholder Becky Lynch took to Dublin’s Straight Blast Gym, McGregor’s home base in Ireland. They worked out with his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trainer, John Kavanagh, and WWE.com has a whole gallery of pics from their session.

So, you know what this means, right?

Probably nothing, other than that WWE knows mainstream media outlets as well as wrestling sites like Cageside will run posts like this when they mention the reigning UFC Lightweight champion.

Well played, WWE. We here at cSs are gonna try to have fun with it anyway...
