If the current President of the United States of America is a huge pro wrestling fan, then maybe our next commander-in-chief can be an even bigger pro wrestling nerd. While making the rounds to promote his next feature film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Rock got genuinely excited when had the chance to talk a little pro wrestling.
Okay, not just excited, The Rock was down right giddy to tell a story of his younger self getting the chance to meet Hulk Hogan at Madison Square Garden.
This is an amazing story!

When I interviewed @TheRock for JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, I brought him my original JUMANJI ticket from when I saw it in January of 1996.
I asked Johnson if ever collected anything special as a kid and he told me this amazing @HulkHogan story. pic.twitter.com/o3sDERNfGn

I was @TheRock’s last Interview of the day. The timer wrapped me after an amazing story he told me about Hulk Hogan. Johnson still gave me 3 more questions!
Then we just talked movies for 10-min after interview.
Genuinely a great dude. @DCfilmgirl pic.twitter.com/Cs4IrQyCwS
Despite the crowd of critics that pops up anytime The Rock drops in for a quick WWE cameo, nobody can question the love Dwayne Johnson has for the business.
Which WWE legend is more likely to make an appearance at WrestleMania 34, Hulk or The Rock? Also, anyone else think Hulk Hogan was kind of huge jerk backstage for not giving back a sixth grader’s priceless wrestling souvenir until three weeks later? Patience is a virtue and all that, brother.
