A numb Johnny Gargano gives the saddest backstage interview

Johnny Gargano has had a rough 2017. After another loss last night on NXT, it appears Johnny Wrestling does not have too much to be thankful for this holiday season.

Over past several months Gargano has been in plenty of great matches but on the losing end of the majority of them. As a member of DIY he lost the NXT tag-team titles at the beginning of the year and by May his friend, roommate and partner Tommaso Ciampa was beating him senseless post-match.

In fact Gargano has gone 0-4 in NXT TakeOver showcase matches this year.

Gargano’s tough defeat at the hands of United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne may have been his tipping point. Now Johnny Gargano isn’t upset, angry or even passionate, in defeat.

Gargano is numb to the whole situation and it’s a sad thing to watch unfold.
