Shane McMahon was in a somber mood to open tonight’s (Nov 21) SmackDown. The commissioner of the blue brand tried his best to spin the results of Sunday’s Survivor Series.
The only two men who weren’t a part of McMahon’s promo to lift up his locker room of wrestlers was Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. McMahon called the best friends to the ring and he had only two words in mind for them.

After Owens and Zayn strolled (grooved) to the ring in anticipation of apology from McMahon, the pair of buds almost had Vincent K. McMahon’s famous catchphrase used on them by the SmackDown commissioner. Seconds after McMahon yelled “you’re” into the mic, Daniel Bryan rushed to the ring with a idea to save face.
Rather than Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens receiving their walking papers, the BFFs would instead face The New Day in Lumberjack match tonight on SmackDown.

Is this another sign Owens and Zayn may be soon taking their talents to Monday nights? Or even Saturday nights at your local indie show?
