WWE Raw sees no meaningful rise in viewers post Survivor Series

There used to be a day that viewership for Monday Night Raw would shoot up the night following a pay-per-view (PPV) because fans who didn’t purchase the show wanted to get caught up on all the action from the night before. With the WWE Network, the PPV shows are less important and more accessible than ever, so that’s no longer the case.

Case in point: this week’s episode of Raw, coming just one night after Survivor Series, drew 3.07 million viewers, up ever so slightly from last week’s 3.03 million. The hourly breakdown also looks similar, though this week saw more viewers stick around throughout the evening:

Hour one: 3.24 million
Hour two: 3.19 million
Hour three: 2.78 million

This is just the reality of viewership for WWE on television as they go into 2018 and are getting ready to negotiate a new TV deal.
