Paul Heyman puts AJ Styles over huge after Survivor Series: ‘If you're not a fan you shouldn't even be watching WWE’

AJ Styles put on yet another incredible performance in his match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series in Houston, Texas, and while everyone was surely impressed, perhaps no one thought more of him coming out of this show than Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman. In his own words:

"I'm shocked. I've been an AJ Styles fan since before I was supposed to be an AJ Styles fan. I watched AJ Styles before anybody here was supposed to watch AJ Styles. He is more phenomenal than he gives himself credit for. If you're not an AJ Styles fan you shouldn't even be watching WWE. He's everything Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart, and Ric Flair were to their generation and he's updated it; he's evolved their styles to truly be the single most phenomenal in-ring performer I have ever had the honor and the pleasure of watching up close. I've been doing this my entire life. No one in the ring has ever compared to what I witnessed tonight when I had the best seat in the house and got to see AJ Styles up close.

"To you, sir, I have nothing but respect and admiration. Which is why, when they put this match together, when AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal to become the WWE champion, I dropped to my knees and I thanked god that Brock Lesnar gets to step into the ring with AJ Styles. Because it's one thing to eat through an entire division, it's another thing to step into the ring with AJ Styles and show the world that you can conquer those hopes, those dreams, that intensity, that underdog.

"Yes, Rocky lost at the end of the movie but he won the respect of the woman he loved. AJ Styles continues to earn your respect every single night that he performs. Tonight, he didn't just perform he fought. He took the fight to the Beast like very few ever have, which is why I stand before you tonight your humble advocate because I am truly with the champion of champions, the ultimate title holder, the reigning, defending, undisputed number one champion, then, now, and forever, Brock Lesnar."

I dare you to disagree.
