After they defeated Breezango on the Kickoff show at Survivor Series in Houston, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn went backstage and gave the above interview, which really amounts to Sami complaining openly about their continued treatment on the SmackDown Live brand. That led to an exchange with a wondering Commissioner of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon:
Sami: "I thought I got the shaft on Raw, I did. But hindsight being 20/20, you were right about everything you ever said about Shane. You know what? I'm a big enough man to say sorry.
Stephanie: "I'm sorry too. I'm sorry you've been put in this position. I hope that my brother recognizes you for the true talent that you are."
This was before they attacked Shane McMahon in the main event — though they were fought off without much issue — and before Stephanie had to help her husband to the back. There have been rumors that WWE could shake up its rosters again.
