Guess you can’t blame them. By not immediately confirming rumors that Natalya would replace Charlotte Flair on SmackDown’s women’s Survivor Series elimination tag team when Flair beat Natty for the title last Tuesday, WWE generated a few days of “mystery partner” interest for the pay-per-view (PPV) on Sunday, Nov. 19.
And if they’d waited until tomorrow to say “it’s Natty!”, they’d risk backlash from folks hoping it would be Paige, or Shayna Baszler, or whoever.
Still, it’s hard to not be a little underwhelmed that commissioner Shane McMahon just dropped the news in a Saturday morning tweet:
Individual competition drives every #SDLive Superstar. Even in defeat, @NatbyNature proved herself to be a fierce competitor and will be an asset to Team Smackdown’s 5 on 5 #SurvivorSeries Team. Let’s go to work, Nattie.

Natalya joins Becky Lynch’s team of Tamina, Carmella and Naomi as they get ready to face captain Alicia Fox and Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Asuka of Team Red.
Keep hope alive, Glampires. You can still root for a swerve.
