Roman Reigns’ illness took away The Shield’s first match as a trio in more three years, but now that The Big Dog is back, WWE has announced we’ll be getting a version of the same contest which had been scheduled for TLC on Raw tonight (Nov. 13) when Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins face The Miz and The Bar:
Mike Rome has some #BreakingNews from Atlanta, GA before Monday Night #Raw!
Posted by WWE on Monday, November 13, 2017
This creates an opening for Dean and Seth to get a measure of revenge against Cesaro and Sheamus, who defeated them for the tag titles last Monday in Manchester, without taking their eye off a rumored showdown with The New Day - whose #UnderSiege fakeout led to their losing the straps in the United Kingdom - at Survivor Series.
Of course, that would also hang a loss on two Team Red champions heading into their own bouts against SmackDown stars in Houston, but that’s how things go sometimes.
Unless another invasion keeps this from going to a finish, and advances a bunch of angles for Sunday, Nov. 19.
We’ll have to tune in to find out. Follow along with your fellow Cagesiders in our live blog right here.
