With WWE set to tour India in December, it was something of a surprise when AJ Styles won the WWE championship from Jinder Mahal on SmackDown Live last week. The natural thought was the company would want Mahal to go in as strong as possible, for a title match or two.
Instead, it appears they’re booking him against Triple H:

His response:
.@TripleH not only the biggest match in Indian History, but also of my career. Consider the challenge accepted by me, now @wweindia and #wweuniverse India let‘s all make this happen. pic.twitter.com/6Wv62HnWFg

Perhaps that’s even bigger than a WWE title match?
