The Rock wants to wrestle Triple H and Brock Lesnar, but says Roman Reigns ‘ just needs my foot in his ass’

While we’re on the subject of comebacks on this slow November news day, Dwayne Johnson was asked about dream opponents in the current WWE during his appearance at Stan Lee's L.A. Comic Con last weekend.

Rocky had to think about it for a minute (and shot down a chanted AJ Styles suggestion from the crowd, although he said he loves The Phenomenal One, who’s “a real good dude”), and then came up with three names.

“One would be Triple H, The Game.

The other would be The Beast, Brock Lesnar.

The other one would be a guy that actually just needs my foot in his ass, Roman Reigns. Yeah.”

The set-up for another showdown with Hunter is always there, and has been mentioned by Haitch recently, as well. Brock was rumored to be an opponent for Rocky after his series with John Cena, but an injury suffered at WrestleMania 29 slowed production on his Hercules flick - and may have signaled the end of his in-ring career.

Johnson infamously assisted his cousin Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoaʻi at Royal Rumble back in 2015, in one of many steps in Vince McMahon’s plan to turn Reigns into his next Ace. So this could be seen as a sign The Great One will somehow put over Roman in the future, as another coronation. The Guy brought it up himself just a couple weeks ago.

But judging from Rock’s trademark smirk after delivering the line, he was probably just playing the crowd.
