We’re still pretty much a year away from Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise, but you should probably get used to seeing news about it. It is Jericho-related and will feature a Ring of Honor (ROH) tournament, after all.
So, here’s some news about that “Sea of Honor” tourney, which will be called by WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. It just picked up a couple of marquee participants:
We still don’t know what the format of the onboard tournament is, so it’s hard to guess what “be part of” means exactly. But this is not going to quell speculation that Jericho’s recent Twitter beef with The Young Buck’s partner in The Elite, Kenny Omega, might be getting on-board the ship to do some business with Y2J.
Omega recently shut down their back-and-forth tweet battle, saying he didn’t want to give “free publicity” to something their respective affiliations with WWE and New Japan prohibit:
Twitter angles are fun,but it’s just a lot of talk with absolutely no pay off. You’re there, I’m here. No more free publicity. Case closed.

But isn’t that exactly what you’d expect a wrestler to say? And now that their mutual relationship with ROH, and international waters, might provide common ground...
Stay tuned.
