The story of the WWE championship match at Hell in a Cell focused on a lot of things. Wrestling was pretty low on the list, however. Would Shinsuke Nakamura and Jinder Mahal’s second pay-per-view (PPV) match lead to us talking about what happened between the ropes instead of the reasons behind Mahal’s reign, or how inappropriate his promos on Nakamura were?
Ehhh...
After a flurry of early offense from the challenger from Japan, the champion slowed things down:

Mahal returned fire, and when Nakamura battled his way back into the match, he had to deal with not only Jinder, but also his lackeys The Singh Brothers. Referee Charles Robinson threw Samir and Sunil out, but their distraction provided the Maharajah with a few extra moments to break the pinfall by grabbing the rope before three following a Kinshasa.
A second attempt at his finisher was avoided by the champ, and another dodged. That resulted in Shinsuke going knee-first into the turnbuckle. Mahal hit his own finisher moments later, and The Maharajah’s reign rolls on... probably into India in December.
