WWE confirmed last week that Jeff Hardy needed surgery to repair a torn labrum and a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. The operation was scheduled for yesterday (Oct. 3), and based on this Instagram from The Charismatic Enigma, it looks like it went well:
Recovery from shoulder surgery is usually estimated at somewhere between five-to-eight months, which is why several reports have said internal targets for Jeff’s return are in May of 2018.
Which likely means missing WrestleMania 34, which is a bummer. But the important thing is getting that arm working again, so...
Get well soon, Brother Nero!
UPDATE: WWE.com has posted on Jeff’s surgery, including their usual photo gallery of before, during and after shots. You can check that out here.
