Jeff Hardy starts his recovery from shoulder surgery

WWE confirmed last week that Jeff Hardy needed surgery to repair a torn labrum and a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. The operation was scheduled for yesterday (Oct. 3), and based on this Instagram from The Charismatic Enigma, it looks like it went well:

Recovery from shoulder surgery is usually estimated at somewhere between five-to-eight months, which is why several reports have said internal targets for Jeff’s return are in May of 2018.

Which likely means missing WrestleMania 34, which is a bummer. But the important thing is getting that arm working again, so...
