WWE filled out the majority of its SmackDown men’s Survivor Series team on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
First, Shane McMahon announced he would be the team captain.
After that, Bobby Roode defeated Dolph Ziggler in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match to earn a spot of his own. Later still, Shinsuke Nakamura used an assist from Randy Orton — who was there to help ensure Sami Zayn couldn’t continue interfering — to pin Kevin Owens to ensure his placement.
In addition to all this, it was revealed Rusev will wrestle AJ Styles next week to determine who gets the final spot on the team. That means the SmackDown men’s squad looks like this:
- Shane McMahon
- Randy Orton
- Shinsuke Nakamura
- Bobby Roode
- AJ Styles or Rusev
Not bad!
