We may never know why Nia Jax has been off our screens for the month of October, but whether it’s because of a bad back or Cousin Dwayne’s advice, there were already reports she could be back tonight.
Could a few other big names join her in showing up at Raw in Baltimore on Oct. 30, just in time for the Survivor Series build to kick into a higher gear?
According to PWInsider - the same source which brought us the Nia news - Samoa Joe is scheduled to be at Royal Farms Arena. After time off for a knee injury, Joe’s been saying he was close to a return since last month. With plans calling for him to make the trip to the United Kingdom later this week, it makes sense to get him back in the mix as soon as possible, especially with Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt sidelined.
Joe teased the news himself on Twitter Saturday with a very Bmore specific clip:

Another source (Sportskeeda) has read the tea leaves from the official WWE preview for tonight’s Raw hinting at someone challenging Kane tonight to predict the return of Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men has been advertised at the venue for a while, and was only written off eight days ago at TLC via garbage truck. With The Big Red Monster only around for a short time due to his Tennessee Mayoral campaign - and the need for star power - WWE may not want to prolong his absence for storyline injuries.
Which of these Superstars will be back tonight? What will they be doing? Join us at 8PM Eastern in the live blog to find out!
UPDATE: Insider reports Strowman is backstage, and they’re also saying Bray Wyatt is there and has been cleared to return after his bout with a viral infection. No SmackDown talents have been spotted. Wrestling Observer’s confirmed that Wyatt is cleared and will be on the European tour; he and Jax could be used tonight.
