The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Survivor Series event set to take place on Sun., Nov. 19, 2016, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Thanks to the brand split, this show will feature match-ups exclusively pitting Monday Night Raw wrestlers against SmackDown Live wrestlers.
We're three weeks from showtime and the card is basically already complete:
- Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal
This originated with Mahal making a challenge but before Lesnar could even respond, it was booked as part of a champion vs. champion series. Brock went for it anyway.
- Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya
The Raw women’s champion ran from confrontation when the SmackDown women’s champion showed up during the invasion this past week.
- The Miz vs. Baron Corbin
The United States Champion, Corbin, was front and center in the invasion but the Intercontinental Champion, Miz, was nowhere to be found.
- Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. The Usos
The Raw tag team and SmackDown tag team champions were building this match on house shows a while back, so this works out perfectly.
- Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Men’s elimination match)
Team Raw: TBA
Team SmackDown: Randy Orton & TBA
- Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Women’s elimination match)
Team Raw: Alicia Fox & Sasha Banks & Bayley
Team SmackDown: Becky Lynch & Carmella & Charlotte & Naomi & Tamina
That’s the card so far, but expect a cruiserweight match or two to be announced.
