Shane McMahon always said on SmackDown you earn your spot. Despite his best efforts, Sami Zayn was unable to dance his way onto SmackDown’s Survivor Series team.
Instead of rolling out the red carpet for Zayn’s offer, McMahon made the Ska wonder kid face Randy Orton in the main event of tonight’s (Oct. 24) SmackDown; winner earns their way onto the Survivor Series squad.

Orton and Zayn would put on a back and forth affair before a concerned Kevin Owens rushed out to ringside to help his best friend in the whole world. Looking to distract The Viper, Owens let Zayn get a quick roll-up that only went for two.

With the ref in charge of the action trying to maintain order while dealing with Owens, Orton hit Zayn with a low blow-RKO combo that would get his hand raised.
Randy Orton joins SmackDown’s Survivor Series team, what other four wrestlers will join him vs. Team Raw?
