Two former leaders of The Bullet Club wrestled at TLC last night (Oct. 22), and when the match was over, they shared a greeting the group re-popularized for wrestling fans.
While it’s difficult to not wonder or joke about a possible connection to the ongoing posturing between WWE and current members of that New Japan stable, as Luis Paez-Pumar, an editor for the website Remezcla, did after AJ Styles and Finn Bálor shared a post-match “Too Sweet” in Minneapolis.
That tweet earned a response from The Phenomenal One, who denied anyone but he and Finn were in on the moment:
