During the initial broadcast of TLC last night (Oct. 22) on WWE Network, the first promo spot aired for next month’s dual brand pay-per-view (PPV), Survivor Series. The commercial confirmed what rumors have been pointing to for a while - the show will be built around a Raw vs. SmackDown theme:

We already know one of the matches, as the non-title Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal bout no one has been clamoring for for years will finally take place in Houston.
What else will we get?
A Finn Bálor vs. AJ Styles rematch seems likely (and welcome). Raw Talk was teasing a women’s elimination match for the second year in a row, which would look a lot like last year’s but with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair wearing different colors. Fans have been interested in a possible showdown between The Shield and The New Day, but that would depend on Roman Reigns’ health.
There have been indications we might be headed toward some intra-brand feuds, like Team Kevin Owens vs. Team Shane McMahon or Team Enzo Amore vs. Team Kalisto. The former might be on hold pending the resolution of the personal/family matter keeping KO at home, but maybe WWE won’t pursue either of these programs given the red vs. blue angle?
We’ll be finding out over the next few weeks.
What do you think, Cagesiders? Excited Survivor Series is getting its own identity? Worried it will get overshadowed by the return of War Games for NXT the night before?
