WWE TLC 2017 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the TLC event set to take place on Sun., Oct. 22, 2017, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is the company’s annual showcase playing off the popular Tables, Ladders, and Chairs gimmick match that took the pro wrestling world by storm in the early 2000s. This is a Monday Night Raw exclusive event.

We're just one week out from showtime and the card looks like this:

  • The Shield vs. The Miz & Braun Strowman & Cesaro & Sheamus

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose reunited because they’re all feuding with folks who banded together, for some reason. So they’re going to have a chaotic match in the most chaotic of circumstances. It should be fun!

  • Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James

This started on a Raw Talk when Bliss called Mickie “old” and they’ve gone from there. Kurt Angle awarded James a title shot, so here we are.

  • Asuka vs. Emma

Asuka brings her undefeated streak to the main roster. She’s already being booked strong, as they had a Fatal 5-Way elimination match for the right to wrestle her. Emma won, obviously.

  • Kalisto vs. Enzo Amore

In a surprise, Kalisto was inserted into the title picture and took the strap off Amore in the main event of Raw last week. They were already scheduled to wrestle for the title on this show, so there was no need to change anything.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt (or maybe Sister Abigail) also looks to be a lock for this show but the undercard is up in the air considering how much talent — including the tag team and Intercontinental titles — are tied up in the main event match. Expect another women’s match to be added, at the very least.
