SmackDown is throwing a lot of folks into a few matches for their next pay-per-view (PPV), Feb. 12’s Elimination Chamber.
On the blue brand’s main broadcast, commissioner Shane McMahon revealed the participants for the Elimination Chamber match. On Talking Smack, General Manager Daniel Bryan was busy as well, starting with his first guests, the tag champs American Alpha.
The SmackDown tag division was pretty much on hold for the build to Royal Rumble, so to make up for it, Chad Gable & Jason Jordan held an open challenge on the Jan. 31 episode. Instead of getting one set of challengers, every team on the roster showed up. To follow up on that melee, AA will defend their belts against... everybody... in a tag turmoil match:

DB doesn’t specify the participants, but assuming it’s the same guys who crashed the challenge in Corpus Christi, Texas tonight, it will be Breezango, the Usos, Vaudevillains, Heath Slater & Rhyno and the Ascension in the elimination gauntlet style match.
Gable says he’s prepared to go first, so FIGHTING CHAMPS!
This bout joins two women’s matches and the WWE title match on the card:
- John Cena (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz vs. Baron Corbin in an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World title
- Natalya vs. Nikki Bella
- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s title
