Watch John Cena celebrate his history making 16th WWE title with a Make-A-Wish kid

At this point, if you’re still hating on John Cena, it might be you who’s the “bad, bad man” and not him.

Moments after winning a WWE World title for the record-tying 16th time last night (Jan. 29) at Royal Rumble by defeating AJ Styles, Cena celebrated. But not with the man whose mark he tied, Ric Flair. And not with his lady love, Nikki Bella. Both were backstage, and would have provided his bosses with a nice photo op.

Nope, the man who can once again call himself the Face That Runs The Place took his newly won championship and waded into the Alamodome crowd for some moments with a young man from Make-A-Wish.

The charity, which provides dream-come-true moments for kids diagnosed with life threatening illnesses, is almost as closely associated with Cena as he is with WWE. He’s touted as having granted more wishes than anyone in Make-A-Wish history at over 500.

As you can see in the video above, he took this one a little further. The kid already had Superstar autographs on his shirt, and some sweet ringside seats for the Rumble. Cena took it one step further by giving him a few moment and photos with the champ that no one else will ever experience.

It’s fun to chant, but John Cena doesn’t suck.
