Former WWE Cruiserweight champion Jamie Noble is reportedly hospitalized in West Virginia after a scary incident Wednesday morning.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Noble returned to his home in a Mercer County mobile home park after a long drive from a WWE Event Tuesday night. He dropped his girlfriend off at their trailer and went back out for food. When he returned, he was confronted by another driver who said Jaime cut him off on the road.
Noble allegedly apologized, per the Sheriff’s office’s report, but the argument escalated and got physical. He took the other man to the ground, but at that point, two others got out of the car. One of them stabbed him twice, once in the upper back and again lower on the back, but closer to the spine.
All three men fled in the other car. An ambulance arrived, treated Noble on the scene and took him to an emergency room. He remains in the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
WWE is aware of the situation and has been in contact with the authorities in West Virginia.
The 39 year old works as a producer for WWE. His last prominent on-screen role was with Joey Mercury as Seth Rollins’ lackeys ‘J & J Security’ during Rollins’ WWE title run in the Summer and Fall of 2015.
We’ll provide more details on Noble’s condition and the status of the case against his assailants when we have them, Cagesiders.
In the meantime, join us in sending our thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
