From the above video:
"In the original brand extension draft in 2002, Mr. McMahon chose The Rock as the top pick for SmackDown. The most electrifying man in all of entertainment has created a Hall of Fame worthy resume but as he showed at WrestleMania 32 with a record-breaking win over Erick Rowan, his in-ring career is far from over."
The Rock was recently named the highest paid actor in the world, having earned $64.5 million this year. He certainly doesn't need pro wrestling at this point, not even a six-second squash at WrestleMania. That doesn't mean it won't happen, of course, and this is a slick way for WWE to create some interest in how big returns like Rock's -- not to mention Undertaker's, who is also featured in the video above -- will be handled with respect to the brand split.
