Alexa Bliss explains motivation behind dressing like Harley Quinn

From her interview with Cleveland.com:

“I am a Harley Quinn fan. I am a big fan of characters in general. When I was in NXT, we would dress up in themes like Freddy Krueger and Iron Man. [Buddy] Murphy, who wrestles in NXT, just recently dressed up as Two-Face. And I was like, man wish I could do that stuff. I really want to do a Harley Quinn inspired outfit. So he helped me come up with it.”

Bliss stood out in NXT for her look, if nothing else, but she has a strong character of her own. We’re getting to see that now on SmackDown Live, where she is the number one contender to Becky Lynch’s women’s championship. Bliss didn’t say if she would continue dressing like Quinn during this run, but why box herself in?
