Paige reportedly not medically cleared to return

For the second straight week, the presence backstage at Raw of some WWE Superstars who’ve been sidelined with injuries made the news.

And for the second straight week, none of the group consisting of Luke Harper, Emma and Paige appeared on the show.

In the case of Harper, there seem to be definite plans to get him back in the mix shortly. The once-again former Wyatt Family member is medically cleared and advertised for some upcoming live events on the red brand’s schedule.

Who the heck knows what’s going on with poor Emma. She says she’s been cleared for weeks, and rumors are all over the place about which brand she’ll joining - which may indicate there is still no storyline in place for her return.

Regarding Paige, who’s remained in the headlines for all the wrong reasons throughout her injury rehabilitation and Wellness suspension, the rationale for WWE not using her is apparently more straight-forward. According to PWInsider, it’s because she hasn’t been cleared for in-ring activity yet.

The Brit was open about dealing with some back and shoulder issues before her Wellness suspension was announced and all the subsequent drama dominated rumor reports for days. Presumably, it’s the same issues keeping her from getting the green light for a return now.

Hope to see all three back in the ring soon, but won’t be surprised if we get a few more weeks of backstage sightings before it happens!
