Becky Lynch's first promo as SmackDown women's champion after Backlash

Becky Lynch won a Six-Pack Challenge at Backlash tonight (Sept. 11, 2016) in Richmond, Virginia to win her first women's championship in WWE. It also made her the first ever SmackDown women's champion. She was absolutely ecstatic about it in her first interview backstage.

"It doesn't feel real, to be honest with you. It's just a dream come true, you know? I started at 15, always wanted to be here, always wanted to be in the WWE, and now to be the women's champion, the first women's champion on SmackDown, it's a girlhood dream come true. It's not going to hit me for another few days, for another few weeks -- jesus, another few years!

"It just makes everything worthwhile. There were so many times when I doubted myself and I think a lot of other people did. I was told I was not going to make it, this, that, and whatever. I'm the last of the Four Horsewomen to win a championship but I won one, and I won this one, and I won the SmackDown women's championship. ... It means the world, it means the universe, it means the WWE Universe!

"Like I said, this is what these boulder shoulders are for. It makes a little ledge for it. Yeah, it fits perfectly. I'll be sleeping with it on me pillow tonight. I won't need a pillow, I'll just hold this!

"Blue's just my color too. But I won't be feeling blue with this!"
