WWE ensured tonight's (Sun., Aug. 21, 2016) SummerSlam pay-per-view at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York would be historic if only because it would see the crowning of the first ever Universal champion. It was decided in a match between recent NXT call up Finn Balor and the number one pick in the WWE Draft, Seth Rollins.

Some this and that happened .. and there was paint and shit.
Like any other match of this caliber, it picked up and grabbed the crowd when they went into signature spots. It felt, at all times, like a showcase for Balor, who continuously had the upper hand, even kicking out of God's Last Gift:

It was only a matter of time before he hit the Coup de Grace and scored the clean pinfall to become the first ever Universal champion. The face of Monday Night Raw is painted.
Happy?
